The Urambo District is a linking paved i.e. especially from Tabora town to Vumilia Ward in west of Urambo town and Unpaved i.e. some part of Kaliua District Trunk road to T18 from Tabora - east of Urambo town with distance of 90km to Kigoma via Kaliua and Uvinza Districts in the west, passes through the district. The District also can be reached using chartered aero plane where they land and take off at Urambo town air strip
The Tanzanian Central Line train - from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma - passes through the district where the train station are found in Urambo town and other small stations.
